Meg McCormick, Director of Development/Operations, is a Middlebury, CT resident and graduate of UConn. She is a leader committed to resource development, donor engagement, and the implementation of effective systems that support transitioning individuals and families out of homelessness.
Meg’s commitment to this mission is rooted in her professional experience witnessing how stable housing can be truly life-changing. Through her work in nonprofit development and operations, she has seen firsthand how furnishing a home provides more than shelter: it offers safety, dignity, and a foundation for rebuilding.
Meg brings a diverse background in nonprofit-relevant operations, finance, and relationship management, with experience overseeing budgets, contracts, reporting, and organizational systems. Throughout her career, she has built strong partnerships, driven sustainable revenue growth, and strengthened operational infrastructure—skills she now leverages to support for the mission-driven Make a Home Foundation.
Outside of her professional work, Meg enjoys pickleball, gardening, golf, skiing, cards, and Mah Jongg, pursuits that reflect her appreciation for teamwork, the outdoors, and maintaining balance.
