As our fiscal year has come to a close, here at Make a Home, we extend our deepest gratitude to those who have helped us make a difference in the lives of so many. We are very proud of what we do here and with that, we would like to share some of our metrics from the past year with you!
- It’s our 10-year anniversary!
- We have served over 2,000 families and over 3,800 individuals.
- We have kept over 24,000 pounds of trash out of landfills each year, which accounts for over 240,000 pounds of trash over the past 10 years. THAT IS 120 TONS of TRASH out of the LANDFILL OVER THE PAST 10 YEAR! Your trash can help homeless people get on their feet and give them hope.
With the support from our community and 100% of the revenue generated from the Amazing Store over the past year, we were able to help over 450 families. That’s double the number of families we helped the previous year!
Provided over $800,000 in assistance to Connecticut families
Helped over 1100 individuals from all backgrounds
Serviced 43 towns or 1/4 of Connecticut!
Helped 116 veterans furnish their homes
